We are actively looking to hire a VP of Sales to further our success and complement our growth strategy.

What You'll Do at Cyrus:

  • Be responsible for a multi-million dollar revenue target
  • Generate new leads within the NYC and Boston areas
  • Maintain a healthy and accurate pipeline
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
  • Build and grow strategic relationships with decision-makers in IT (CxOs, VPs)
  • Network with leaders in both the startup and enterprise worlds
  • Work alongside our executive and marketing teams to ensure we maintain a solid stream of new business
  • Use social media to build and strengthen your network
  • Work in a dedicated team environment
  • For the right applicant, mentor and lead junior staff members 

This position is ideal for you if you are honestself-motivated, energeticlove sales and have a hunger for generating successful businesses deals.  You will drive this role and be responsible for your own success. You can craft your day to fit your sales and networking style.??

What You'll Need:

  • A proven track record of hitting quarterly sales targets
  • Confidence to achieve high sales goals in a fast paced environment
  • 10+ years experience in selling B2B professional services
  • A love for networking and relationship building
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment including preparing developers before sales meetings
  • Knowledge of insight-based selling
  • Experience with longer sales cycles. Our deals can take 2-12 months to close and can range from $150k - $500k.
  • Discipline to be self-organized and maintain accurate CRM records
  • An understanding of software development and related technology terms (Mobile, Web Development, Ruby, Rails, Agile etc.)
  • Ability to work outside Cyrus core hours (you'll still work a true 40 hour week!)
