Operations Manager

We are hiring an Operations Manager to join the events department and work closely with the General Manager to coordinate all production elements.

The Work:
  • Collaborate across all departments to tactically deliver a suite of events
  • Create detailed internal and external schedules for all event activities
  • Act as line manager for (2) Operations Associates
  • Maintain event-specific budgets and make recommendations for improvements based on Budget-to-Actual analysis
  • Travel for site inspections, permit hearings, planning meetings and event execution
  • Assist General Manager with securing all necessary permits for event execution
  • Manage resources and vendor/partner relationships for each event
  • Liaise with communities to engage local businesses and organizations surrounding the event
  • On-site management of service providers, volunteers, and temporary workforce during event build and execution
  • Work with the Accounting department to manage payment to all partners and ensure financial control documents are up to date

The Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Operations, Project Management or similar industry
  • Proven history of successfully executing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have valid driver's license
